"Tina and I brought this back from Salta, Argentina in 2006. We represented NHC on a team called "Mision Argentina' sent from St. Matthew's in Newport Beach, part of the Anglican Communion. The team was sent to rebuild two churches destroyed by flooding and deforestation in 2005 that serve the indigenous Wicci people.

"The cross is crafted from reclaimed railroad ties made of Palo Santo, a fragrant hardwood related to frankincense, and thought to have mystical properties by the Wicci. Christian Wicci use it for crafts and sacred objects like crosses."
